    • Everybody Love Everybody was the name chosen to embody the spirit of the festival.

Two days after summer equinox, this festival provides a glorious  opportunity to take advantage of the warmth of summer one last time before the nights get longer and hot summer days become but a distant memory.

The idyllic location is unchanged however the experience promises to be entirely new. Situated only an hour and 20min from Johannesburg. The farm built during the mining era by Sir Herbert Baker for one of the eminent Rand Lords of the time as his personal hunting lodge on the Spingbok Flats. Today it rests a slice of untouched 20th century history, playing host to Springbok, Kudu, Eland and other small non-predatory game.

Back in Johannesburg an orphanage with close personal ties to the organizers of the festival has recently fell on hard times due to various factors not least of which is their inability to turn away those in need.

An innovative solution appropriate to our generation and social situation had to be found, thus ELE was born. With the aim of raising funds for those in our community desperately in need of our help and the access to an unbelievably beautiful resource virtually on our doorstep the solution became clear.

Beats in the Bush was the first event hosted by ELE. It was the introduction to one of the most memorable summers on record and to a social revolution. Each attendee was part of a movement, a movement away from selfish desires and towards caring about each other and each and every person within our broken society.

    • The funds raised so far have served to make a tangible difference in the lives of some of the most disadvantaged and desperate children living within our very city.

Frolic on the farm aims to build on the ideals and successes of the previous E.L.E event. With a clearer vision and more experience this sizzling edition promises to be unique, far more interactive and at least slightly life changing. While at the same time is projected to return substantially more than ever before to those individuals within our community desperately in need of our help.

ELE is like nothing else on the festival circuit. Take advantage of the non-existent light pollution and admire the vastness of the Milky Way from the champagne stocked stargazing station or Dance the night away with the professional sound and light step up against the backdrop of a Burmese Teak First World War creation of an architect knighted for his contributions to the field.

    • Days are meant to be spent relaxing on lilos at the pool in the typically 3 to 4 degree warmer than Joburg weather or catching a young and up and coming artist such as Pheonix Smith performing live on the main stage.

Dance in the sun rise while resident DJs Justin Miller, Shaun Collier and Tomorrows Will inspire instant euphoria from behind the decks

All to be enjoyed with a LIMITED 200 friends and friends of friends.

Camping on the manicured lawns will be part of the experience, festival goers will be responsible for their own food and booze, however Ice Cold Draughts and Brutal Fruit Slush Puppies will be available at crazy cheap prices from the SAB supported bar.

Contributions and donations to the party are welcome and encouraged, they all serve to make the entire experience one never to be forgotten. Come dressed up, come crazy, come chilled, play an acoustic set or lie by the pool in the summer sun but don't miss out on this once in a life time festival experience.

In order to raise funds for the orphans and pay for any setup which has not been donated. Tickets will be R200 and are limited to 200 in number.

Please contact myself with any ideas or contributions that would make this the best boutique outdoor festival in and around Joburg.

      And remember: Everybody Love Everybody!

    • St Janes De Chantel has close personal ties to the organisers of the event. As one of our families were lucky enough to receive the gift of a sibling from this sanctuary for abandoned children in the Johannesburg area.

The owner/facilitator/head fundraiser/angel Hannah has selflessly dedicated her entire life to the desperate needs of abandoned and HIV positive children.  She lives and works all day to enhance the lives of children with literally nowhere else to go.

    • Head towards warmbaths (bela bela) - about 60ks after pretoria (just past hammanskraal) the turnoff is called RUST DE WINTER - you turn left off the highway then left again. You will get to a stop street with a cafe on your left. Turn right here and carry on for about 10kms. You need to trun right where there is a sign to MCKENZIE. Go over the highway and as the road turns into a sand road, you carry on for about 1km then you will see a gate on your right hand side. You need to go oen the gate - you're very close now - (if you are travelling at night probably a good idea to call Tim now) follow the road to the left and carry on - you will see the farm on your right - there'll be some signs up... Good luck & enjoy!
